Transforming Our Community &
Mission Crestwood exists to meet the ever growing needs of individuals and families in our community. Currently over 3,000 families are being served, 2,500 of which visit Mission Crestwood on a regular basis. Between 2011 and 2014 a 60% increase in the number of individuals served was experienced. Mission Crestwood is making a difference in the lives of those caught in the cycle of hunger, poverty and homelessness. Families who might be separated due to the unavailability of life’s most basic needs are given the chance to remain together.
Mission Crestwood provides resources to area individuals and families on the verge of poverty and/or homelessness. Food, clothing, referral services and God’s Word are shared with those who need assistance.
- Secure a site large enough (25,000-50,000 square feet) to house all Mission Crestwood services at one location. This new site will be secured through a property donation or a Capital Fundraising Campaign and named The Mission Crestwood Resource Center.
- Secure a place and continue program development for a homeless/discipleship resident center.
- Establish a “restaurant” and a Kid’s Café at The Mission Crestwood Resource Center to provide meals for the visiting families.
- Continue efforts to raise funds to meet the financial needs of Mission Crestwood.
